Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test and implement enterprise Java applications in accordance with SDLC best practices. Develop robust backend services and modern frontend solutions using Java, Angular and related technologies. Produce technical specifications, architecture documentation and system enhancements to meet business requirements. Perform code reviews, maintain coding standards and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers and technical teams to deliver innovative technology solutions. Identify, analyse and resolve production issues while ensuring maximum system availability and performance. Participate in change management, governance, audit and release management processes. Continuously improve application performance, scalability and operational efficiency. Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications BCom, BSc, BEng, BSc Informatics or another relevant IT qualification. Experience 10+ years' Java development experience. Strong backend and frontend development experience. Experience mentoring developers and conducting peer code reviews. Financial services or banking industry experience will be advantageous. Technical Skills Java Spring Boot Hibernate Angular Node.js SQL Server (MSSQL) SOA Microservices Docker Kafka Maven Nexus Team City Tomcat JBoss Advantageous Experience TIBCO AMX or Camunda workflow tools.
