We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to optimize and deliver cutting-edge mobile experiences within a dynamic engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reusable Kotlin libraries for core NG-Commerce system components
- Deliver high-quality software using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Enable realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners
- Communicate complex ideas and concepts to non-technical peers and clients
- Manage and partner with technology vendors to deliver business objectives
- Implement technologies following Information Security principles for sensitive data
- Provide high-availability operational support and automate solutions
- Implement deep telemetry capabilities for success and performance metrics
- Implement service monitoring to ensure availability and operational continuity
- Uphold company policies and legal/regulatory requirements
- Maintain system configurations and baselines to support secure software development and control standards
Requirements :
- 8+ years of software development experience in Java, Kotlin, REST API, and Backend Services
- 3+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and multi-tier architectures
- 2+ years of experience developing and operating services in major cloud providers such as AWS
- Experience with databases including Cassandra, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL
- Background in message-driven architecture and development
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- Experience implementing and managing high-capacity, redundant, mission-critical environments
- Ability to run and maintain 24x7 production environments
- Experience with CI/CD automation, infrastructure ownership, monitoring, and alerting configuration
- Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of Scala
- Experience uplifting existing services from on-premises to the cloud
