Client: Our client is a leading retailer in Mexico.Project overview: DataArt's specialists are helping the client to develop their e-commerce platform with a focus on mobile channels.Position overview: As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and systems using Java technologies.You will collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.Technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, AWS Pipeline (CodeBuild, CodeDeploy), Service Oriented Architecture & Microservices- Lead the architecture and implementation of complex modules and features- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements- Mentor and support junior developers and conduct code reviews- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives- Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and tools- Stay current with emerging Java technologies and industry trends- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development- Strong knowledge of core Java (Java 8 and above) and object-oriented programming principles- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA- Good understanding of RESTful API design and development- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL- Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control systems (Git)- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
