Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java codebases
- Construct backend Micro-services and REST APIs
- Execute comprehensive unit testing
- Perform rigorous code reviews
- Adhere to established coding practices including unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and other best practices
- Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies
- Engage in estimation and planning sessions to ensure project alignment
- Mentor junior developers and collaborate effectively with peers
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field; Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred
- Over 3 years of Java development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems
- Proficient in Kubernetes for orchestrating containers and managing microservices
- Deep understanding of Microservice Architecture Patterns
- Experienced with Microsoft Azure for cloud services and solutions
- Skilled in developing and integrating REST APIs
- Proficient in unit testing techniques and tools
- Fluent in English with a proficiency at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in Financial Services, specifically in wealth management
- Experience with Apache Kafka for handling real-time data feeds
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization and consistent deployment environments
- Proficient in SQL for managing databases and performing data manipulation
