We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain features while ensuring system reliability and scalability. You will be part of an agile environment, actively participating in all stages of the development lifecycle and contributing to team success.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and functionality based on business requirements using the EIS platform
- Provide ongoing support for systems currently in production to ensure stability and performance
- Collaborate with business analysts and clients to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Develop automation tests to validate delivered features and ensure system reliability
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including planning sessions, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Follow industry best practices and established standards throughout the development process
- Assist in onboarding new team members and use the internal knowledge-sharing platform to ask and answer questions
- Contribute to the team’s success during all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of Java Core (15+)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Core and Spring Boot for developing robust and scalable solutions
- Skilled in writing unit tests to validate code functionality and ensure maintainability
- Experience working with REST APIs and a solid understanding of the HTTP protocol
- Familiarity with design patterns such as Facade, Command, and CQS for creating efficient and reusable code structures
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data management and optimization
- Experience working in Scrum environments, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of messaging solutions like Kafka or similar tools for stream processing
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Grafana, ELK, or similar for CI/CD, container orchestration, and monitoring
- Proficiency in Brazilian and Portuguese
