Senior Java Engineer (AEM) Adobe Experience Manager
We're recruiting for a Senior Java Engineer to join a growing engineering team building enterprise-scale communication platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end and working in a modern DevOps-focused environment. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Hertfordshire.
The Role
Develop and enhance Java applications using Spring Boot
Work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and enterprise communication solutions
Design and build scalable microservices
Contribute to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD delivery pipelines
Drive system reliability, performance and maintainability
What We're Looking For
6+ years' commercial Java development experience
Strong Spring Boot and microservices expertise
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Cloud experience, ideally Azure
Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile teams
Desirable Skills
Experience with Kubernetes, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Kotlin, Scala, distributed systems, or AI/LLM integrations would be advantageous.
