Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join our scrum team.
Responsibilities
- Construct robust backend micro-services and REST APIs
- Implement unit testing to guarantee functionality and reliability
- Execute code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
- Adhere to coding best practices including continuous integration and thorough code reviews
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to guarantee seamless project execution
- Engage in estimation and planning sessions to delineate development phases
- Mentor and guide fellow developers to foster a cooperative team environment
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot
- Skills in building and maintaining APIs and microservices
- Competency in managing various databases including DB2, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management is preferred
- Familiarity with JIRA for project management
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Competency in Jenkins for continuous integration
- Understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Proficiency in ReactJS for frontend development
