Senior Java Developer | Brussels
Join an agile squad within a major financial institution, responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable Java solutions. You will work on greenfield projects using hexagonal architecture, with a strong focus on code quality and customer value.
Your Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot. Lead the technical setup of new applications and drive development focused on customer value. Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges. Analyze and refine requirements to deliver new functionalities in an efficient manner. Champion code quality, automation, and best practices including TDD/BDD and pair programming.
Required Profile
Minimum 8 years of experience in Java development, with a strong command of Spring Boot, Maven, Oracle and Kafka. Experience with DDD, hexagonal architecture and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins and SonarQube. Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and testing frameworks. Agile methodology knowledge required. English plus at least one local language (FR or NL).
