We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to exciting, dynamic projects.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and team members to design, develop, and integrate high-quality software solutions. This position requires effective communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across time zones to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions, ensuring they meet high-quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Monitor and maintain system performance, addressing any issues that arise
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during the development lifecycle
- Engage in daily direct communication with the client to ensure alignment on project goals and progress
- Participate in occasional meetings with the client, scheduled at 9-10 AM Pacific Time
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, covering all phases of the system implementation lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and support
- Previous experience using GCP Serverless solutions for scalable system design
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for efficient code collaboration
- Solid knowledge of SQL for database design and query optimization
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent English communication skills at a B2+ level, with experience in direct client communication
Nice to have
- Familiarity with gRPC for high-performance communication between services
- Knowledge of Protocol Buffers for efficient serialization and deserialization of structured data
