Senior Java Developer

Overview:

We are looking for Java developers to join Electronic Equities team to work on a Client Reporting application. The application is the key for the Client reports creation for the regulatory and monitoring purposes. Main focus of the allocation is timeliness of delivery and data quality. From the technology perspective we are relying heavily on core Java, Spring IoC, Core, Batch frameworks, Shell scripting. Frontend is Angular and React based SPAs.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the real-time data application.
• Ensure the platform is developed and maintained to the highest standards of quality, scalability, and performance.
• Participate in an agile based software development life cycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components.
• Work directly with business users to understand the requirements and perform L3 support when needed.

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years software development experience.
• Experience with understanding the requirements and software testing.
• Experience in reporting and business intelligence platforms.
• Experience in quality assurance: unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing.
• Ideally, exposure to Corporate Investment Banking, understanding of Cash Equities.
• Java 1.8+
• Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD, Maven, git, Shell scripting, JavaScript.
• English – Proficiency.
• Ability to work as a part of a globally distributed team.
• Attention to detail, curiosity.
• Ability to adapt to fast changing environment.
