Senior Java Developer
We're seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a multidisciplinary team of 10-15 professionals, working on the development, modernization, and integration of business-critical applications. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, analysts, and developers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
This role requires someone who can quickly onboard, work independently, and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance existing applications.
- Design and implement REST APIs and system integrations.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create automated tests and maintain software quality.
- Modernize and improve existing systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience as a Java Developer.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven REST API development experience.
- Experience integrating applications and managing data exchange.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Desirable Skills
- Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Web.
- Experience with Okta.
- Knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Key Vault, and Blob Storage.
- Understanding of secure software development practices.
- Experience with API integrations, data mapping, and validation processes.
