The project : We’re looking for an exceptional Node Developer to join a fully remote team supporting a high-end US-based home décor company. Founded in 2003, the company blends design and function to elevate how people live in and experience their homes. With both physical locations across California and a thriving e-commerce platform, they offer thoughtfully curated collections meant to evolve with their customers over time. This is a long-term opportunity to work on a modern tech stack, contribute to a robust digital commerce experience, and collaborate with a global team of experienced professionals. It is being developed an entirely new event-based solution on AWS, which will be central to future systems integrations. You will have the opportunity to influence the design and approach taken in that development. You will be working in a small, highly focused team made up of talented professionals who are dedicated to solving highly complex problems in support of a fast-moving business. 2. Write clean, maintainable code to support the business.
5. Gather and address technical and design requirements.
6. Provide training and support to colleagues and other internal teams.
7. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Requirements :
1. Solid experience as a Backend Developer;
2. Proficiency in using Node.js;
3. Experience in using Vue.js;
4. Skills in using AWS Services;
5. Experience working in agile environments;
6. Solid understanding of API development.
Preferred skills :
Experience in functional programming preferred.
Experience in E-commerce;
Experience in React.
Soft Skills :
1. Proactive approach to problem-solving;
2. Ability to work autonomously and effectively without constant supervision;
3. Self-management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently;
4. Ability to work alone when necessary, while also being a strong team player when collaborating with colleagues;
5. Capacity to make decisions independently without relying solely on leadership guidance.
