Job description

• To support our international expansion, Open Web Technology Vietnam has an immediate job opening forSenior Nodejs Developer based in Vietnam. We offer the opportunity to join an international work environment with dedicated developers, QA and DevOps engineers, and to replicate in the APAC region the successful model we have developed over the years with our European Clients who are leading Corporation in leading industries such as Telecommunications, Banks, Insurances, Media, Healthcare and Consumer Goods industries. 

 
Key Responsibilities:  

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Node.js and Reactjs and related technologies.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop solutions that meet business objectives.  
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.  
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to promote skill development and knowledge sharing.  
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.  
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes and solutions. 

Your skills and experience
Must have:  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• At least 4 years of software development  
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and related concepts. 
• Experience with modern web development frameworks/libraries such as Express.js, Nest.js, or similar. 
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and proficiency in writing efficient database queries. 
• Be able to communicate well in English. 

Nice to have:  

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices or other Cloud technologies is a plus. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
