Senior Python Developer

SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer (Physiological Algorithm Development) to join our innovative engineering team, working at the intersection of exercise physiology, data science, and genetic data processing . POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality physiological algorithms using Python
• Work with exercise physiology and genetic datasets to deliver actionable insights
• Build and optimise data pipelines for large-scale data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into systems
• Troubleshoot and improve algorithm performance and data quality
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously enhance solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in Python, with a strong focus on data analysis and algorithm development
• Solid understanding of exercise physiology and/or genetic data processing
• Experience working with large datasets using tools like Pandas and NumPy
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or Keras
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data modelling
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with R or MATLAB
• Knowledge of SQL and database design
• Background in statistics and data visualisation
