In this role, you will design and implement secure, high-performing backend services that enable generative AI-driven applications across Azure.

You'll work closely with DevOps/MLOps teams and data scientists to operationalize advanced AI capabilities in a production environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain GraphQL APIs using FastAPI and StrawberryIntegrate AI and LLM APIs (e.G., OpenAI, Anthropic) into backend services with secure data handlingArchitect relational database schemas and implement version-controlled migrations for consistency and performanceCollaborate with DevOps/MLOps teams to containerize and deploy services on AzureMonitor, troubleshoot and optimize backend performance for speed, scalability and cost efficiencyImplement unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainabilityApply best practices for API security, performance tuning and error handlingParticipate in CI/CD processes and improve observability for production systemsRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldProven experience as a Python Developer building backend services with FastAPIHands-on experience developing GraphQL APIs with tools such as StrawberryStrong knowledge of SQL and relational database design;
