In this role, you will design and implement secure, high-performing backend services that enable generative AI-driven applications across Azure. You will develop Graph QL APIs, optimize relational database structures and integrate AI/LLM functionalities to deliver scalable solutions.Join a cutting-edge AI platform initiative where your backend engineering expertise will power secure, scalable and innovative AI solutions, improving enterprise productivity and enabling next-generation services. You’ll work closely with Dev Ops/MLOps teams and data scientists to operationalize advanced AI capabilities in a production environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain Graph QL APIs using Fast API and StrawberryIntegrate AI and LLM APIs (e.G., Open AI, Anthropic) into backend services with secure data handlingArchitect relational database schemas and implement version-controlled migrations for consistency and performanceCollaborate with Dev Ops/MLOps teams to containerize and deploy services on AzureMonitor, troubleshoot and optimize backend performance for speed, scalability and cost efficiencyImplement unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainabilityApply best practices for API security, performance tuning and error handlingParticipate in CI/CD processes and improve observability for production systemsRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldProven experience as a Python Developer building backend services with Fast APIHands‑on experience developing Graph QL APIs with tools such as StrawberryStrong knowledge of SQL and relational database design;
