A leading high-frequency trading firm is hiring a Senior Python Engineer to build the internal systems that run and manage a high-performance infrastructure platform. This team develops the software used to provision, configure, observe, and control large-scale Linux and network environments supporting latency-sensitive trading systems.

The work has direct operational impact, and the engineering bar is high.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain internal systems used to manage infrastructure at scale (primarily Python).
- Design APIs and tooling for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Improve automation for configuration, deployment, and change coordination across complex environments.
- Develop and evolve observability and operational tooling to improve reliability and performance.
- Diagnose production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes.
- Collaborate across teams to plan and deliver infrastructure changes safely.
- 5+ years of engineering experience (finance experience not required).
- Strong Python skills and the ability to deliver maintainable, well-tested systems.
- A strong automation mindset and a preference for reducing operational complexity.
- Comfortable working close to production infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools and configuration management (Ansible or similar). xgiwjmb
