Position Summary
The Senior SAP Manager is responsible for leading, guiding, and managing a team of functional specialists and SAP Consultants to ensure the successful deployment, enhancement, and support of SAP applications within the organization.
This is a leadership position with direct management of employees. Domestic travel may be required.
Essential Functions
Lead and manage a team of SAP functional specialists, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight
Coordinate with business units to identify SAP requirements and solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals
Ensure timely delivery of SAP projects within budget and scope, managing timelines, resources, and risks
Monitor SAP system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency
Maintain SAP system configurations, procedures, and documentation for consistency and compliance
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP; systems analysis; technical support; business process mapping
Efficient planning, organizing and execution of SAP Projects
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes and implementing solutions
Clear, effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Liaising with SAP partners and vendors for support and solutions
Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness
Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; employee recognition and discipline; resolving employee concerns; and developing employees with the skills, competencies, and values needed to achieve Company goals.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
