Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our rapidly growing Engineering team in Toronto. This role requires a presence in the hub office twice a week.
A day in the life might look like:
- Work with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customers
- Work in an agile environment with our full stack team across a variety of projects
- Learn new things, challenge yourself, and hone your craft as a Rails expert
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams across Canada, United States, and Ireland
- Review and provide feedback on code, both within your own team and across all of Clio
- Diagnose, understand, and solve problems, building solutions that may span many areas
- Teach and learn from those around you, providing constructive feedback and receiving feedback to grow
What you may have:
- Experience in software development, specifically building web applications at scale using Ruby on Rails
- Ability to gain fluency in new technologies quickly and work effectively in an ever-evolving environment with distributed teams and customers
- Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products
- A diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems
- A history of past projects (including notable successes and lessons learned)
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build high-trust relationships with fellow Clions and customers
- Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI

The expected salary range for this role is $144,700 to $170,300 to $195,900 CAD. Salary bands reflect skills and experience, with room for growth. The final offer will depend on geography, experience, and skillset.
