Senior SQL Developer - Contract Role Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite) Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract Stelfox is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Developer to join a high-performing technology team working on strategic business initiatives and enterprise-wide development improvements. This role offers the opportunity to design and build new database functionality, enhance development processes, modernise supporting tools, and help drive best practices across the software delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex Microsoft SQL Server solutions. Build new database functionality supporting strategic business initiatives. Improve and optimise software delivery processes and supporting tools. Collaborate with development teams following Agile and Lean methodologies. Ensure solutions comply with technical standards, governance, and best practices. Support application performance tuning and database optimisation. Promote continuous improvement and development excellence across teams. Take ownership of technical issues through to successful resolution. Required Experience Extensive experience developing solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. Strong understanding of Agile and Lean software development methodologies. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles, software patterns, and architecture. Broad technical understanding across software development environments. Experience driving efficiency through process and tooling improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with distributed and global teams.
