Server Assistant
As a Server Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment. You will assist servers in delivering exceptional service to our guests and maintain a clean and organized dining area. Your attention to detail and teamwork will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our patrons.
This role is a key position in our operational excellence delivery goals. The role may advance into a Server level position should the incumbent demonstrate sufficient strategic development and enlargement of performance scope. The successful person will be an advocate of our mission, values, and brand from a Food and Beverage level.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist servers in setting up tables and preparing the dining area for service.
- Greet guests and assist them to their tables.
- Provide water and bread service to guests.
- Clear and reset tables in a timely manner.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs, and sweeping the floor.
- Assist in stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing excellent service.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Have basic knowledge of wine and wine/food service preferred but not required.
