The Junior SharePoint Engineer/Developer supports and maintains OIG/ISP’s SharePoint-based Knowledge Management System to meet the information management needs associated with OIG inspection process and reporting requirements. The incumbent contributes to the development and maintenance of innovative technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Develops and deploys OIG /ISP’s SharePoint-based Knowledge Management System and related tools and web-based applications.
• Develops and manages Microsoft Forms-based inspection surveys.
• Research, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products per production and client requirements.
• Develops data extracts, analyses, and visualizations from Knowledge Management System data repositories.
• Serves as the first-line technical support provider for Knowledge Management System end-users.
• Manages and monitors SharePoint permissions.
• Develops and maintains workflows using SharePoint Designer and Power Automate.
• Integrates Microsoft Office applications with the SharePoint environment.
• Creates and maintains process and systems documentation, manuals, user guides, and end-user training materials.
