Shipping & Receiving Associate (Laser Operations)

Position Overview
Our client, a leading manufacturer serving highly technical industries, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. This entry-level position supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and laser marking operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
- Process shipments using shipping software platforms.
- Prepare palletized and freight shipments.
- Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries.
- Load and unload freight trucks while following safety procedures.
Laser Marking Operations
- Review marking instructions and identify part numbers.
- Access CNC marking files through a Windows-based system.
- Follow work instructions to accurately laser mark products.
- Ensure manufacturing lot dates and required information are marked correctly.
- Position and stage parts consistently according to engineering specifications.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Maintain inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Support warehouse organization and material movement activities.
Qualifications
Required
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Preferred
- Previous forklift experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, shipping & receiving, warehousing, or logistics.
- Familiarity with inventory management and shipping systems.

Work Environment
