Senior Shopify Full-Stack Developer for an E-commerce Agency (US-Based/Remote)

Our client is an e-commerce agency focused exclusively on subscription CPG brands across food, beverage, supplements, and health & wellness.
Role Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Full-Stack Developer to build, optimize, and continuously improve high-performing e-commerce experiences for DTC and subscription-focused CPG brands.
This is a hands-on role combining Shopify development, full-stack functionality, CRO, A/B testing, performance optimization, and third-party integrations. You’ll work closely with Tech Leads, Designers, Project Managers, Marketing, and other developers to deliver scalable, conversion-focused solutions across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Online Store 2.0.
- Build high-converting landing pages for paid traffic and optimize product/collection pages.
- Develop custom Shopify features, integrations, and Shopify API solutions.
- Integrate third-party and subscription platforms such as ReCharge and Skio.
- Implement CRO and A/B testing, including Intelligems experiments.
- Optimize page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, and conversion rates.
- Implement and maintain Meta Pixel, CAPI, GA4, and GTM tracking.
- Troubleshoot storefront, API, integration, and tracking issues.
- Follow GitHub best practices and maintain clean, scalable code.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Designers, Marketing, and Project Managers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development experience with strong Shopify expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of Shopify, Liquid, Online Store 2.0, Sections, Blocks, Metafields, and Theme Architecture.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development skills.
- Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
- Proven experience with CRO, A/B testing, and conversion-focused development.
- Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Pixel, CAPI, GA4, and GTM.
- Strong GitHub experience with branches, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with ReCharge, Skio, or subscription e-commerce.
- Experience with Intelligems, Convert, or VWO.
- Knowledge of Replo, Shogun, GemPages, or PageFly.
- Experience with Figma and paid-media landing pages.
- DTC e-commerce agency or multi-brand experience.
- Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools.
