A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex station construction works across greenfield environments requiring multidisciplinary coordination and skilled engineering oversight. The head contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of complex station construction works on the greenfield scope. You'll translate design requirements into executable site activities, coordinate resources and permits, and maintain the records needed to demonstrate compliance across structural, architectural and building services construction disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan assigned station work fronts in detail, including methodology, staging and resources
- Prepare and maintain work packs, inspection documentation and permit requirements
- Review drawings and specifications; identify constructability issues and raise RFIs
- Coordinate daily activities with supervisors and subcontractors
- Support concrete, structures and architectural works execution
- Coordinate building services and public realm construction activities
- Monitor productivity, quantities and material consumption
- Undertake field inspections and close out defects with quality personnel
- Maintain accurate site diaries, records and as-built documentation
- Support commissioning and handover activities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical or construction engineering
- 2-5 years' site engineering experience in building, civil, rail, transport or major infrastructure
- At least one project of $100m+ in value
- Experience with work packs, ITPs, RFIs and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and survey data
- Experience with concrete, structures, architectural or services construction
- 2+ years' average tenure per employer with at least one site engineering role held for 2+ years
- Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence
- Ability to obtain rail corridor competencies
- Practical, organised and field-focused approach
