Site Manager – Mobile Crushing & Screening
Excelsior Mining Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee mobile crushing and screening operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Liaise with clients, site management, and operational teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ensure compliance with site rules, company procedures, MHSA regulations, and safety standards.
Monitor and achieve production targets while maintaining operational efficiency.
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and servicing of plant and equipment to minimize downtime.
Supervise employees and contractors to ensure work is performed safely and professionally.
Ensure all employees comply with company policies, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, inspections, and on-site training where required.
Ensure contractor packs, inductions, legal files, and compliance documentation are completed and maintained.
Take responsibility for 2.6.1 legal appointment roles and responsibilities.
Maintain accurate production, maintenance, safety, and operational records.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
Coordinate daily site activities and workforce planning.
Promote good housekeeping and a strong safety culture on site.
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in mobile crushing and screening operations is essential.
Proven supervisory or site management experience.
Knowledge and understanding of MHSA and basic Labour Relations Act (LRA) requirements.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good record keeping and reporting abilities.
Computer literate with the ability to use emails, spreadsheets, and reports.
Mechanical or similar technical background will be an added advantage.
Mechanical and operational knowledge of crushing and screening equipment will be advantageous.
Valid driver’s licence.
Sober habits and professional conduct.
Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for site operations.
