This is your opportunity to move into a senior program management role using your technical experience, organisational and leadership skills, to develop multiple small and complex minor works projects with an interconnected ecosystem of professionals.
In this role you’ll:
- Lead the end-to-end program management of traffic and safety-focused road programs, driving effective, high-quality project outcomes in complex, highly constrained environments with competing priorities, tight timeframes and multiple stakeholders.
- Drive program planning, scheduling and governance, managing risks, budgets, approvals and lifecycle controls to ensure programs meet business case outcomes within the program budget and timelines.
- Champion continuous improvement and lead customer-focused change initiatives aligned to divisional priorities and strategic objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing, capable team, fostering a collaborative, ethical and outcome-driven culture.
- Engage and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong partnerships, effective governance and confidence in program development and delivery.
Note, the role requires regular office presence, occasional travel to multiple project sites, flexibility to work outside standard business hours, and a full driver’s licence.

About You
- You bring extensive experience leading complex minor works infrastructure programs, with deep expertise in traffic and safety-based project development in highly constrained road environments, ensuring safety and community outcomes.
- You are a confident and accountable leader, with well-developed program and project management capability across planning, governance, risk and financial management, and a track record of delivering results in complex and dynamic settings.
- You are an influential communicator and collaborator, able to translate complex technical information into clear insights, negotiate effectively, and drive evidence and risk-based decision making with senior leaders, internal teams, external partners and community stakeholders.
- You have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a strong customer-focused and outcomes-driven culture.
- You excel at managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects, navigating ambiguity, embracing change, and overcoming challenges within complex governance frameworks.
- You are forward-thinking, solutions-focused and commercially aware, leveraging best practice, innovation and continuous improvement to deliver integrated, low cost and high benefit infrastructure solutions."
