Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer
Location : Remote (Mexico)
Salary : Up to $70,000 MXN Gross

Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment.
- Integrate Snowflake with multiple data sources and third-party tools.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven business initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 4-5 years of experience in data management with specialization in analytical data warehouses.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake modeling: roles, databases, schemas.
- Expertise in SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and database performance.
- Experience coding in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of Snowflake warehousing architecture, administration, and processing.
- Experience with data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake.
- Proficiency with ETL processes and SQL.
- Familiarity with Azure services, especially Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of Snowflake features like Time Travel and Zero-Copy Cloning.
- Strong grasp of data compliance and security best practices.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau.
- Proven success in data migration and performance optimization within Snowflake.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Understanding of master data management, data warehousing, and BI architecture.
- Familiarity with SQL Server best practices and database design.
- Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly across all levels.
- Experience contributing to DW lifecycle activities, including design documentation, test planning, and code reviews.
