We are looking for an Advanced-level SOC Base Software Developer with a strong Cyber Security focus to join our automotive engineering team. This is a full-time position working on cutting-edge ECU development across telematics, ADAS, and other embedded automotive platforms . This role is ideal for engineers who are hands‑on, autonomous, and ready to contribute from day one , working closely with US‑based stakeholders in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure base software components for embedded automotive systems.
  • Work on Yocto/BitBake-based Linux distributions, including:
    • Recipe development
    • Integration and hardening of security features
  • Implement and support cybersecurity mechanisms across ECUs, including secure communication and system protection.
  • Contribute to system‑level architecture and security strategies for automotive platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under time pressure, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with US‑based stakeholders, participating in technical discussions and status alignment.
  • Drive solutions with minimal ramp‑up, operating independently and taking ownership of deliverables.

Your profile
  • 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Yocto/BitBake:
    • Customization of distributions
    • Recipe development
    • Security integration (SELinux, MAC/DAC, access control mechanisms)
  • Solid understanding of cryptography concepts, including:
    • RSA
    • ECDSA / ECC
    • X.509 certificates and PKI
  • Experience with automotive cybersecurity topics, such as:
    • Secure Boot
    • SOME/IP Security
    • MACsec
    • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with Qualcomm SoCs and platforms.
  • Background in automotive ECUs, especially:
    • Telematics Control Units (TCUs)
    • ADAS ECUs
    • Body or Gateway Controllers
