You will be a key contributor to the Clearing ecosystem, evolving a next-generation, unified Clearing platform. In Madrid or Barcelona, you will develop and maintain robust data-heavy solutions, ensure system stability, and collaborate across architecture, engineering, and business teams. The role blends on-premises legacy work with modernization efforts, including microservices integration and cross-functional support. Expect a hands-on position with international scope and a focus on performance and reliability. This is an opportunity to shape the future of European Clearing services and finance technology.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Understand the Clearing applications ecosystem, including data models and dependencies
• Design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL solutions for critical Clearing processes
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents as part of L3 support
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for stability improvements
• Participate in after-hours support for high-priority incidents
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to modernize legacy systems and enable new architectures (e.g., microservices)
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and knowledge transfer
• Work with business stakeholders, operations, and risk teams to ensure compliant operation of Clearing services
• Contribute to re-architecture and development of a next-generation Clearing platform for a unified ecosystem
Responsabilidades
• Oracle databases and advanced PL/SQL development with performance optimization xqbhyrx
• Experience with Java (microservices architecture) and Linux environments
• Background in application and system architecture in complex legacy environments
• Understanding of the Clearing business domain is a plus
• Native Spanish and advanced English (C1) proficiency
• Availability for planned support outside standard hours (compensated)
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (compensated)
