Responsibilities

  • Support and implement vendor and customer API integrations, ensuring they\'re set up correctly and running smoothly in production.
  • Investigate and resolve production API issues, debugging complex problems and working with stakeholders to keep things moving.
  • Build monitoring, alerts, and dashboards that help us spot issues early and keep our APIs reliable.
  • Deliver bug fixes, enhancements, and operational improvements that make our APIs easier to use and more stable over time.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless API adoption and support.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and previous experience would be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with object-oriented programming (Java or C# preferred).
  • Comfortable building and supporting REST APIs in cloud environments like AWS.
  • Great communicator who works well in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with test-driven development and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks is a nice to have.
  • Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries with exposure to customer-facing integrations and incident response is a nice to have.
