Senior Software Developer – Data Security Project. Join our growing team and contribute to data security solutions by analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and supporting complex software components.
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses of system and coding needs to identify problems and propose solutions, including program specifications.
- Develop system specifications, code, modify, test, and debug computer programs under general supervision.
- Explain the technical and business aspects of the system to colleagues and users.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications or software components.
- Organize and manage production sessions.
- Ensure design and modeling of programmatic solutions for complex problems, meeting documented functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Review design as part of deliverables (code and design quality).
- Develop and support complex components.
- Support and guide the project team in development activities to ensure code quality and meeting deadlines.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Implement regression testing strategies to improve application stability.
- Provide level‑1 support, maintenance, and resolve complex anomalies.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional development experience.
- Strong analytical and data synthesis skills.
- Self‑motivated initiative and the ability to work under pressure.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
- Mandatory bilingualism for Quebec‑based candidates.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
