TECATE PCB NEW COMPANY: Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Enterprise System Support: Provide robust technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for vital enterprise systems, including MSSQL databases, SAP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), Lotus Notes, SCADA, and EDI platforms.
- Software Development & Scripting: Develop, maintain, and debug internal tools, scripts, and applications utilizing Python and C#.
- Operational Workload Management: Take over and effectively manage a designated portion of the current IT operational workload, ensuring smooth day-to-day business continuity.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate root causes of recurring problems and accelerate the closure of long-outstanding IT tickets and system bottlenecks.
- System Optimization: Proactively monitor system health, implement performance tuning, and improve overall system stability and incident response capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff, department heads, and end-users to understand the system needs and deliver effective technical solutions.
Working Experience: 3+ years in IT Field, software development is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of EDI processes and data integration is highly preferred.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex, long-standing IT and software issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Required Software Familiarity: Must have strong, hands‑on familiarity with at least one of the following enterprise software systems: SAP, MES, SCADA, or Lotus Notes.
- Programming Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in software development using Python and C#.
- Database Experience: Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically MSSQL (querying, maintenance, and optimization).
