Job Title: Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior

Responsibilities
- Prepare and present analysis to support component design using models to the project team.
- Participate in project focus groups, JAD sessions, SCRUMs and technical meetings with IT service providers.
- Provide production support to the SADIE application.
- Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and in compliance with OPS Standards and Templates.
- Review and confirm software, hardware and network requirements.
- Identify and communicate issues and risks to the DADS IT Project Manager and participate in mitigation activities.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience in programming and analysis at a senior level.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) or other Cloud Technologies such as Openshift, Kubernetes, AWS.
- Strong knowledge of relational, hierarchical and non‑relational (document‑oriented) database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Experience with one or more programming languages: Java, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, SQL, Spring Framework, Quarkus, Angular 9+, Angular Material, Drools.
- Experience with REST web service standards.
- Knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards, specifically Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR). Experience with HAPI FHIR or SmileCDR is a plus.
- Experience with communication protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, TCP/IP.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate potential issues and risk events proactively.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Team‑player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
Desired Technical Skills
- Experience in analysis and design using UML, coding, testing, debugging and documenting applications.
- Experience in user interface development with a focus on Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance.
- Experience programmatically assembling PDF and Word documents (nice to have).
