About the job:

We are looking for experienced full-stack developers to join our expanding development team to lead development work on our market leading intelligence platforms.

You will have demonstratable experience in leading development of high-performance front-end applications, APIs, back-end services, database solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading software development for our platforms, APIs and data gathering operations
  • Working with large and complex relational databases including spatial
  • Ensuring successful development using agile methodologies
  • Working across the software development cycle, from initial wireframing to final deployment
  • Lead collaboration with stakeholders for requirement gathering and project planning
  • Guide and mentor developers to achieve project deliverables in a timely manner
  • Working across teams, supporting clients and reporting progress to senior management


You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in software development working within SDLC practises
  • Experience in updating stakeholders with project progress and supervising junior developers
  • Computer Science or equivalent numerate degree with minimum 2:1 level grade
  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail


You’ll need to have these demonstratable technical skills:

  • Very strong skills in .NET development in C#
  • Very strong skills in frontend languages and frameworks such as: Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Kendo UI
  • Very strong skills in backend services such as: C#, WebApi, Python
  • Strong skills of using data providers such as: SQL Server,
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with: Bitbucket, Git, TeamCity CI, Octopus Deploy, JIRA Issue Tracking or comparable products
  • Proficient with AI Development productivity tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot


We love to see:

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new techniques, programming languages and software tools and an appreciation of the wider software development landscape
  • Any knowledge of the maritime, offshore oil and gas, or offshore renewable industries
  • Awareness of global trade, economics, and statistics
  • Any working knowledge of using Azure Services including Event Hubs, Azure Kubernetes Services, Databricks, Azure Redis and Azure Foundry
