Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present analysis to support component design using models to the project team.
  • Participate in project focus groups, JAD sessions, SCRUMs, and technical meetings with IT service providers.
  • Provide production support to the SADIE application.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure deliverables are completed on time and in compliance with OPS Standards and Templates.
  • Review and confirm software, hardware, and network requirements.
  • Identify and communicate issues and risks to the DADS IT Project Manager and participate in mitigation activities.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other cloud technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.)
  • Programming languages: Java, JavaScript ES6+, Spring Framework, Quarkus, Angular 9+, Angular Material, Drools, TypeScript, SQL, Node.js, HTML5
  • Web service standards: REST
  • Health care data exchange standards: Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), HAPI FHIR, SmileCDR
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, relational, hierarchical and non‑relational (document‑oriented) databases
  • Communication protocols: FTP, SFTP, TCP/IP

Desired Skills

  • Analysis and design using UML.
  • Testing, debugging, and documenting applications.
  • User Interface development focused on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
  • Programmatic assembly of PDF and Word documents.
