Job Title: Software Developer III - Full Stack Web
Location: Hybrid (3 days remote), Toronto, Canada

Rate: CAD 45 to 55 per hour
Role Summary
We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on a software platform focused on modern web development and cross-platform experiences. The role involves building reliable solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, Node.js , and NPM while collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and stable software
- Build and maintain web-based solutions that support cross-platform development and experiences
- Participate in software design and code reviews
- Develop task estimates, evaluate risks, and identify dependencies to support project planning
- Work collaboratively with software engineers, QA professionals, and designers across Toronto and other engineering locations.
- Contribute to discussions around software architecture and design
- Support the development of solutions that deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Work as part of a collaborative engineering team to achieve shared technical and product goals
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role
- Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on professional experience developing production software with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor , or GitHub Copilot as part of a daily development workflow
- Professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for client-side web development
- Hands‑on experience with React and Redux frameworks
- Experience working with Node.js and NPM
- Experience with web-based technologies, concepts, and development constructs
- Strong interest in software architecture and design
- Experience with Git and GitHub for source control
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering and cross‑functional teams
- Commitment to continuous technical and professional development
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience developing web applications using modular and componentized approaches
- Experience working with Agile methodology
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Familiarity with test automation tools and strategies
