A multi‑disciplinary Software Developer who can design, build, integrade and maintain web platforms, mobile applications, and AI-driven solutions that support a fast‑growing financing company focused on small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This role blends technical depth with innovation, ensuring seamless digital experiences for clients, partners, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain responsive web applications, internal portals, and customer-facing digital tools. Mobile App Development: Develop and optimise cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) that support loan applications, client onboarding, and account management. AI & Automation: Integrate AI models into business processes, including: automated credit scoring document classification fraud detection chatbot and client support automation workflow optimisation System Architecture & Integration: Design scalable system architectures and integrate with third-party APIs (banking, credit bureaus, payment gateways, CRM/ERP systems). Data Engineering & Analytics: Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics dashboards, risk models, and operational insights. Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices aligned with POPIA and financial industry standards. Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, credit analysts, operations teams, and leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions. Required Skills & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 35 years of experience in software development across web and mobile environments. Experience building secure financial or transactional systems is highly advantageous. Knowledge of credit processes, lending workflows, or SME financing is a plus.
