About The Opportunity

Berendsen Fluid Power has an exciting opportunity for a mid-level Web Software Developer to join our Maryland branch and support a highly specialised engineering environment that powers some of Australia’s most critical industries.

In this role you will be part of a team supporting and enhancing our in‑house FrontRunner platform – the system used daily across our national operations. You will help evolve and improve a live system delivering updates, resolving issues, supporting users, and developing new features that directly support enhance critical operations.

Your Responsibilities In This Role Will Include

• Support FrontRunner users and resolve Level 1–2 issues.
• Develop and update web software based on user and project requirements.
• Contribute to the continued evolution of the FrontRunner platform.
• Diagnose and fix software issues efficiently.
• Conduct full testing prior to release.
• Train new users on system functionality.
• Track and report development time daily.

About You

• Ideally 2–4 years’ experience in web software development (JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, MongoDB and GitHub are ideal).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Comfortable enhancing and maintaining existing systems.
• Comfortable writing and updating technical and user documentation.
• Able to translate user needs stories into technical solutions.
• Clear communicator with users and stakeholders.
  
• Organised, methodical and able to meet timeframes.
• Experience with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
