Overview of the position
As a Software Developer in our multimedia production company, you will work inside the R&D team developing new features for our award‑winning simulation system. You are responsible for implementing new user interfaces, dashboards, and other elements of our multimedia training environment on both the server and client side.
Main Job Tasks
- Develop new software applications in partnership with business analysts and technical architects
- Work closely with analysts, designers, and staff to present ideas for system improvements
- Produce detailed specifications and write program code
- Test the product in controlled, real‑world situations before going live
- Prepare training manuals for users
- Maintain the systems after launch
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of server‑side coding experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, and AJAX
- Minimum 2 years of client‑side coding experience with HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Minimum 2 years of SQL and stored‑procedure creation in Microsoft SQL Server
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- Scalability mindset to transform special‑purpose client requests into win‑win production solutions
- Persistence, enthusiasm, motivation, and a proactive approach
- Ability to remain calm and level‑headed under pressure
- Initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense, and problem‑solving skills
- Able to prioritize and cope with last‑minute changes
This role is open to graduates; a degree is not required, although many developers hold one.
Location: Company headquarters in Chiasso, Switzerland. The position may involve travel and work from client or partner premises on a mission‑based schedule.
Reporting: Dev Team Leader.
Compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience.
Mid‑senior level, full‑time position.
