Responsabilidades
- Define, develop, and implement the product’s quality assurance strategy across all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Create quality control plans and coordinate final delivery of software releases in customer‑facing environments.
- Work closely with the development team in an Agile environment (Scrum) to create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, testing strategies, and QA processes.
- Design and write test plans and procedures for the QA team.
- Execute manual and automated tests for new features and enhancements.
- Investigate and debug issues found during regression testing.
- Stay up to date on new QA techniques and technologies and recommend their adoption within our testing ecosystem.
- Support and drive the transition from manual testing toward a more automated testing framework.
Calificaciones
- At least two years of experience as a QA engineer working with web applications.
- Experience with test automation using JavaScript and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with cross‑browser testing, including mobile devices.
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, and JSON.
- Familiarity with database servers and Unix‑based systems (preferred).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working both collaboratively and independently.
