Scope of Project:
The Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking an Expert Software Developer to support the Case Management System for Worker Protection initiative. The selected consultant will assist in migrating existing Worker Protection applications to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), develop new application functionality, maintain existing applications, troubleshoot production issues, support testing activities, and work closely with both business and technical teams throughout the cloud modernization effort.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor applications during infrastructure changes and during normal production hours.
- Develop and implement application changes to meet business requirements.
- Work with technical and business testers to validate system functionality and backend processing.
- Provide testing data and support testing activities.
- Troubleshoot production problems and application outages.
- Support migration of existing applications to Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain Angular-based web applications.
- Participate in debugging, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
- Document changes and transfer knowledge to ITS resources.
Required Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience creating Angular 8+ applications, including CSS and ReactJS.
- 84 months of debugging experience using Browser Developer Tools, Angular DevTools, Postman, SoapUI, and related API testing utilities.
- 60 months of experience working with JWT, GCP Firebase, and Okta authentication mechanisms.
- 36 months of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Datastore, and ElasticSearch.
- 24 months of experience working with Nginx Server and Apache HTTP Server.
- 12 months of experience with Form.IO or similar form builder and API management platforms.
- 24 months of experience developing and supporting Spring Boot applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
- Angular 8+, ReactJS, CSS, Spring Boot.
- JWT, Firebase Authentication, Okta.
- PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, NoSQL Databases.
- API development and testing using Postman and SoapUI.
- Nginx and Apache Web Server administration.
- Production support and troubleshooting experience.
