Senior Software Developer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• End-to-end project responsibility: From gathering requirements with the business departments through architecture and implementation to deployment and operation—you’ll lead projects to success from start to finish.
• Development and maintenance of internal business applications based on C# and MSSQL.
• Implementation and maintenance of websites and web CMS using WordPress (PHP / MariaDB).
• Development of modern web apps for clients using Python (backend), React (frontend), and PostgreSQL.
• Implementation of interfaces and integrations (REST / GraphQL) between internal and external systems.
• Setup and operation of our deployment environment using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP), and on-premises servers (Linux / Windows).
• Helping shape our technical standards and architecture as part of a small, dynamic team.

Your Profile:

Must-haves

• Solid knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming
• Productive experience with at least one of our stacks: C#, Python / React, or WordPress / PHP
• Proficiency with relational databases (MS SQL, MariaDB / MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and SQL
• Experience with Git and common branching/review workflows
• Hands-on approach: You implement ideas right away and don’t shy away from practical work
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Analytical thinking skills for solving complex problems
• Willingness to learn and curiosity—you’re excited by new technologies and tech stacks
• Very good German language skills (our working and communication language)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in API design (REST, GraphQL is a plus)
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Basic knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience operating on-premises servers (Linux and/or Windows)
• You have already worked with several or all of our tech stacks
• Interest in AI-powered development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) – a major plus!
