PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a high-visibility engineering team focused on distributed systems, risk and compliance platforms, and AI-enabled applications. This is an onsite role based in Nashville, TN. Prior Amazon experience is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop distributed or multi-tier systems at enterprise scale
• Build and maintain applications supporting risk, compliance, and governance workflows
• Contribute to AI-enabled features and LLM integrations within existing platforms
• Apply strong object-oriented design principles across Java, Python, and TypeScript codebases
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across international operations

MANDATORY SKILLS

• Python
• Java
• TypeScript
• Experience with distributed or multi-tier systems
• Strong object-oriented design fundamentals
• Prior Amazon experience
• Must be US-based (compliance requirement)

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Background in risk, compliance, audit, controls, or governance systems
• Experience building AI-enabled applications
• Exposure to LLMs (prompting, integration, or API consumption)
• Domain knowledge in transportation, logistics, or large operational platforms
