As a Software Developer within our CCB-HU team, you'll play a key role in developing and modernising enterprise-scale solutions that support billing, subscription management, order fulfilment, and customer account services.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deliver full-stack features across backend and frontend applications as part of an Agile Scrum team.

  • Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs supporting customer management, subscriptions, orders, payments, and billing services.

  • Develop and maintain Oracle database components, including PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and views.

  • Participate in software design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs.

  • Apply secure coding standards and support compliance with information security best practices throughout the SDLC.

  • Contribute to platform modernisation, cloud migration initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Take ownership of technical issues and proactively deliver solutions across the full technology stack.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of software development experience in enterprise application environments.

  • Strong backend development skills using Java/Jakarta EE.

  • Experience building RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, Jackson, and OpenAPI (Swagger).

  • Solid understanding of Hibernate ORM, JPA, and relational database design principles.

  • Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience, including stored procedures, packages, triggers, and views.

  • Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development practices.

  • Understanding of unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Rest-Assured.

  • Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, Maven, or Gradle.

  • Exposure to React and TypeScript, or a genuine interest in developing modern frontend applications.

  • Exposure to .NET/C# development and systems integration, or willingness to develop these skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Quarkus or Jakarta EE application servers such as Payara.

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services including ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, and secure API design.

  • Experience with React ecosystems including Material UI, Vite, and TypeScript tooling.

  • Exposure to observability and monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace.

  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Robot Framework or Playwright.

  • Telecommunications domain experience, particularly within billing or subscription management platforms.

  • Passion for continuous improvement, learning new technologies, and working in a collaborative global environment.
