Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
5+ years of professional experience in software development
Proficient in Perl, Java, Algorithms and Data Structures
SQL (PL/SQL knowledge is advantage)
Database concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
Ability to work with people across timezones.
Be proactive and have the ability to communicate/gather information from different teams, with mínimal guidance.
Very Good communications skills. Should be able to explain ideas/concepts clearly to groups of people.
Relentless problem solving ability.
Quality of not giving up till the root cause is identified. (Mindset of not being satisfied with the issue being intermittent)

As a member of the Data Patch Team, you will be part of a global team spread across 5 countries and you will have a lot of freedom to contribute to the core of the Team's products and you will assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems.
Interact with customers and other teams developing core technologies at Oracle.
Prepare design, perform coding, and test/debug programs.
Develop system implementation plans.
Recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards.
