About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer – Frontend Development to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies.
You will work closely with backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver robust, user-friendly applications while contributing to technical decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications.
Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript technologies.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
Collaborate with backend developers to ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend systems.
Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and version-control workflows.
Work with Git for source-code management and collaborative development.
Contribute to improving development processes, application quality, and overall engineering standards.
Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong experience in frontend development.
Strong proficiency in React.js.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
Good understanding of frontend architecture, component-based development, and application performance.
Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
Good knowledge of databases and understanding of how frontend applications interact with data/backend systems.
Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, or Python is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing large-scale or enterprise web applications.
Experience with frontend performance optimization.
Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and development practices.
Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience working in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
