Job role: Software Developer

Summary:
Client is hiring Software Engineers to support a major technology investment initiative and build modern platforms and applications from the ground up. This is a high-priority need with multiple openings, and the team is looking for engineers who can contribute across cloud, backend, frontend, CI/CD, and modern application architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Build and support net-new platforms and applications using modern software architecture and development practices.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using .NET Core.
- Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud solutions and cloud-native application architectures.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and repeatable software delivery.
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Develop frontend applications using Angular and/or React.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, maintainable solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Work in a collaborative environment using Microsoft Teams and modern development practices.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of backend API architecture and highly scalable application development.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with Angular and/or React.
- Demonstrated experience building net-new platforms or applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Financial services or banking experience is highly preferred.
Perfect Fit:
- Must have .NET Core, Azure, CI/CD, and backend API development experience with recent hands-on experience building scalable applications in a modern cloud environment.
- Experience building net-new platforms/applications, developing APIs, and deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies-not just maintaining legacy systems.
- Strong full-stack capability with Angular and/or React, excellent software architecture fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a growing financial services technology team.
