Position: Software Developer

Location: Bremen, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: 35 hours per week/Hybrid

Tasks:

• Programming, testing and analysing software components, primarily in accordance with architectural specifications and/or in consultation with a Level 4 or Level 5 software developer
• Programming and testing of software components, partly in accordance with design specifications
• Point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 software developers
• Documentation of the software components for which you are responsible
• Integration of software subsystems comprising several software components, including within the target system
• Support with system integration

Requirements:

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Several years' professional experience in software development
• Very good programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming language
• Very good written and spoken technical English and German
• Experience with the Qt software library (not just the UL-specific components) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of and experience with the C++ programming language
• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture
