Design, implement, and optimise geospatial data management and precision agriculture solutions. Work with cloud infrastructure, databases, and remote sensing technologies to support farm management systems. Collaborate with the development team to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. Troubleshoot technical issues, improve system performance, and contribute to ongoing product development. Qualifications: Degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Geo Informatics, or a related field. 1+ years' experience in software engineering. Experience with React, Type Script, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and React Native (Expo). Knowledge of geospatial technologies, Postgre SQL/Post GIS, AWS cloud services, Linux CLI, and remote sensing. Exposure to QGIS, Py QGIS, and modern AI tools such as Chat GPT, Codex, or Claude. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively. Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Based in or willing to work in Stellenbosch, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). #J-18808-Ljbffr
